discoveries

after a pair of marvelous weekends, i've been returning to my current home of chicago feeling restless. chicago has always been my dream destination--midwest's pridenjoy city with everything to offer. but as i venture off to michigan and up to canada, i'm realizing how a big city can make a person feel more secluded than i once thought. i guess i feel more confused here, surrounded by people, than when i did when i was in the country where i couldn't see the next house down the road.

i guess it just inspires me to do my own thing, no matter who's watching. i just got to thinkin' tonight as i was trying out a new recipe and flipping through fashion/music trend magazines that the world is too big to not try, to at least try to create something unique and inspirational. who cares if it's not accepted or so-called cool? it came from me, a human being who is attempting to speak out in my own imperfect way. is there anything better?
